About BaliLoka

BaliLoka is an independent marketplace for tourism activities. We are not a tour operator: every experience on the site is owned, staffed and run by a local business that sets its own availability, packages and prices. Our job is to make those experiences easy to find, compare and book.

How listings work

Operators manage their own catalogue — activities, packages, departure times and capacity. Nothing is published to the marketplace until the operator marks it live, and availability you see on an activity page is the operator's real remaining capacity for that departure.

How pricing works

Prices are shown in Indonesian rupiah and include the operator's rate for the package you choose. The BaliLoka service fee is shown separately before you confirm, so the total on the review step is exactly what you pay. Promo codes are validated on our servers, never in your browser, and the final price is recalculated at the moment your booking is created.

How we make money

We charge operators a commission on each confirmed booking — either a percentage or a fixed amount, agreed with each partner. That commission is recorded as a snapshot on the booking and never changes retroactively, so both sides always have an accurate record.

Reviews and ratings

Ratings and review counts come only from travellers who completed a booking through BaliLoka. We do not buy, generate or incentivise reviews, and an activity without genuine reviews simply shows no rating rather than a placeholder one.
