About this experience
The Ayung is Bali's most forgiving white-water river and the right choice for a first rafting trip. The run covers about 12 kilometres and two hours on the water, with around 25 rapids in the grade II–III range separated by calm stretches where the gorge walls are carved with relief panels. Each raft takes up to six guests plus a river guide. You walk down a stepped path to the put-in and back up at the end — around 300 steps each way — and finish with a shower, a change and a buffet lunch overlooking the valley.
